Geography Word Searches
Puzzles about where things are: the US states and the presidents, European countries, famous landmarks, islands and rivers, and the cities of India, Brazil and Russia, with Japanese mountains and skyscraper cities for good measure.
Geography lists are good for spelling practice because place names rarely follow the rules. Connecticut has a silent c, Arkansas and Kansas end the same way but are said differently, and Alaska, the largest state by far, is more than twice the size of Texas; Rhode Island would fit inside Alaska more than four hundred times.
