Careers Word Searches
Twenty-three puzzles about work: Careers for the words of finding a job, Occupations for the names of jobs, and Community Helpers for the youngest students. Single fields get their own lists, from Health Careers, Nursing and Medical Terminology to STEM Careers, Agriculture Careers and Culinary Arts, along with the trades of Construction, Welding, Woodworking and Cosmetology, and the uniforms of Firefighters and Police.
The skills every job asks for have lists too: Customer Service, Employability Skills, Communication Skills, Leadership and Workplace Safety. Many common surnames began as job titles. Smith, the most common surname in the United States and in England, comes from the metal worker; Miller, Taylor, Baker, Cooper and Carter, a cart maker or driver, come from trades the same way.

Every puzzle prints in three levels: easy hides 5 words in a 10 by 10 grid, reading only across and down; medium hides 15 in a 12 by 12 grid; hard hides up to 23 in a 15 by 15 grid. Each print is a fresh draw from the topic's word list, and every sheet comes with an answer key. The same puzzles play online, on your own or against a friend in real time.
