Noah's Ark Word Search
This Noah's Ark word search holds the whole of Genesis 6 to 9: Noah and his sons, the ark of gopher wood sealed with pitch, the animals in pairs, the flood, the raven and the dove, and the rainbow at the end.
Genesis gives the ark three decks, rooms inside, one window and one door, all of it coated with pitch inside and out. Eight people boarded: Noah, his wife, his three sons Shem, Ham and Japheth, and their wives. The clean animals came by sevens and the rest in pairs, the fountains of the deep broke open, and rain fell for forty days and forty nights.
The waters stood on the earth for 150 days before the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. Noah sent out a raven first, then a dove, which came back the second time with a fresh olive leaf in its beak. On dry land he built an altar, and God set a rainbow in the clouds as the sign of a covenant never to flood the earth again. Noah's grandfather Methuselah, at 969 years, is the oldest man in the Bible, and Noah himself went on to plant a vineyard.
