Grinch Word Search
Dr. Seuss published How the Grinch Stole Christmas in 1957. The Grinch lives in a cave on Mount Crumpit with his dog Max, above the town of Whoville, and his heart is two sizes too small.
He dresses in a Santa suit, ties an antler to Max to make him a reindeer, and takes every stocking, ribbon and roast beast in town. Only Cindy Lou Who, who was not more than two, catches him at it.
The 1966 cartoon was narrated by Boris Karloff, but he did not sing. The deep voice in the song about the mean one belongs to Thurl Ravenscroft, who was also the voice of Tony the Tiger. The heart grows three sizes at the end in every version, the book, the cartoon and both films.
Print it for a movie night, or play online and see who finds Max first.
