Christmas Tree Word Search
A Christmas tree is usually a fir, a spruce or a pine, and the difference is in the needles. Fir needles are soft and flat, spruce needles are sharp and square, and pine needles grow in bundles. A tree sold in December has usually spent about seven years on a tree farm.

The poinsettia next to the tree is named after Joel Poinsett, the first American envoy to Mexico, who sent cuttings home in the 1820s. In Mexico it was already a Christmas flower.
