SpongeBob Word Search

Forty words from Bikini Bottom: SpongeBob and Patrick, Squidward at the register, Sandy in her treedome, Mr Krabs and the Krusty Krab, the Krabby Patty, and Plankton scheming at the Chum Bucket.

The show was created by Stephen Hillenburg, who taught marine biology before he went into animation and once drew an educational comic about tide pool animals. It premiered on Nickelodeon on May 1, 1999. The hero was first going to be called SpongeBoy, but that name was already registered for a mop, so he became SpongeBob.

Hillenburg made the town an ocean floor with its own rules. SpongeBob lives in a pineapple, Patrick under a rock and Squidward in a stone head like those on Easter Island. Sandy, a squirrel from Texas, wears an air helmet underwater, and Mr Krabs, a crab, has a daughter, Pearl, who is a sperm whale. Plankton's wife, Karen, is a computer.
